Richard Forster makes realistic drawings from photographs rather than from life - either using his own snapshots, or images found in magazines, books or on the internet.
His choice of subjects is diverse but they are brought together by an underlying interest in measuring his experience of the world.
This edition takes one of Forster’s works from the Whitworth’s collection, Spring Drawing II, and puts it through another process, translating the drawn image taken from a photograph, into a print.
