Cornelia Parker Double Negative 2015 Digital pigment print
This limited edition relates to War Room, the vast and immersive installation that Cornelia Parker made at the Whitworth from punched out paper negatives taken from the Poppy Factory in Richmond. The rows of empty spaces (of over 320,000 picked flowers) echo the endless symmetry of war graves, a left over remnant of the 45 million plus Remembrance Poppies made each year.
