To mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of J.M.W. Turner, Britain’s most celebrated landscape artist, Just Trade, has created an exclusive jewellery collection for the Whitworth, inspired by the textures from his Liber Studiorum prints.

Just Trade is a guaranteed member of the World Fair Trade Organization and collaborates with small fair trade projects globally. These projects offer life changing training, secure work opportunities and fairly paid employment for marginalised people.

This product is handmade by the Hope Jewellery Project which provides training and fairly paid work for women living in the shanty towns of Lima, Peru. By working with this project, the women are able to educate their children and secure a better future for their families.
