Plant your very own Devil's Bit Scabious seeds which naturally grow in the Whitworth Park. 

"The rounded & nodding, purple-blue flower heads of Devil's Bit Scabious can be found in damp meadows and marshes, and along woodland rides & riverbanks. It's pin cushion-like flower heads attract a wide variety of bees and insects."

Seeds of wildflowers may be sown all year round, with the best results from sowing either March to early May, or from August to September.
