Lucienne Day was one of the most significant textile designers of the 20th century, whose vibrant and witty prints lit up post-war British homes and are still fresh and inspiring today. Following the milestone 1993 Whitworth exhibition Lucienne Day: A Career in Design, she donated her own textile archive to the Whitworth.
This new collection of prints and greeting cards shows images of some of the original Lucienne Day tea towels, curtain fabrics, dress fabrics and wallpapers held in the Whitworth collections.
The Batterie de Cuisine art print is printed onto quality paper stocks by King&Mcgaw, who are leading experts in fine art print publishing based in Sussex.
