The design for this tea towel has been created exclusively for The Whitworth by Sheffield-based pattern and print designer Ariana Martin.

Ariana took inspiration from The Whitworth's collection of Thomas Wardle pattern books featuring designs by William Morris and Liberty. The pattern books offer a fascinating glimpse into English printed textile design from the Arts & Crafts Period.
