Women in Revolt! Tour with Sally Hirst, Artist in Residence, Venture Arts

Women in Revolt! Art and Activism in the UK 1970-1990

Sally Hirst Tour

Thursday 3 April 1:00pm - 1:45pm

As part of the public programme for Women in Revolt! Sally Hirst will be giving a special tour of the exhibition Women in Revolt!

Venture Arts artist Sally Hirst is currently an Artist in Residence in our Everyday Art School gallery where her practice is influenced by the Whitworth’s exhibitions, collections, programmes, and visitors.

Sally is a socially engaged illustrator, textile artist and ceramicist with much of her work being inspired by the people around her. Sally's tour will be neurodivergent friendly with easy to understand language, but everyone is very welcome.

Accessibility is at the heart of everything Sally creates; please feel free to listen to her audio descriptions in the gallery and read more about Sally's work via this link.
