Meg and David, the co-founders of SOAKED, are from Manchester, our beloved city known for its persistent rain. After noticing the large number of broken umbrellas discarded across the city, they realised that umbrellas were failing people when they were needed most. This observation on a rainy day in Manchester inspired them to create SOAKED.

They found that many umbrellas on the market are considered 'single use' by manufacturers. This explains why so many people have experienced snapped spokes and soaked clothing, even after just one or two uses. Their mission is simple, creating umbrellas that are designed to last. They combine quality, resilient material with thoughtful design.
