This necklace by Rebecca from Nook of the North was inspired by the landscapes she explored with her little ones in the summer. Rolling hills and peaks all to be found in Yorkshire.
Rebecca Hector Clarke is the hand-embroidery artist behind Nook of the North. Working from her home studio in Yorkshire, she explores texture, colour and form using threads and sustainable materials, creating unique and carefully crafted pieces of wearable art.
This pendant is made from cotton and is fully interfaced to provide support. Rebecca has stitched the edges and curved pattern using a matching thread. This is suspended under a hammered brass arc and hangs from an 18" chain of gold vermeil (sterling silver plated with 18ct gold). She has enamelled the brass arc to prevent tarnishing.
Findings are gold vermeil. The pendant measures 40x45mm.
