Artist book by Frances Earnshaw.
Frances reflects on the landscape and culture of the Calder Valley, revealing a personal folklore and fairytale. Her work references and responds to local literary connections and female archetypes through her own lens as a disabled artist. She draws attention to the hidden experience of the women who worked and lived in her landscape, through humour, imagination and poetic licence.
