Janus the Wolf Wax Candle by The Rural School of Economics - My Villages
This two-faced wolf candle is inspired by Janus, the Roman god that stands for ambivalence. Janus represented the middle ground between both concrete and abstract dualities. As for the local context, around the last millennium, wolves came back to Germany from the east, crossing the river Oder in Saxony and finding their way to the Lüneburger Heathlands.
